Oh my, am I beat. Joe and I dug out a nice big spot on the side of the house, filled it in with gardening soil, fertilizer, and manure, mixed it all up, and got to planting some veggies. We only got as far as carrots, radishes, and onions before the sun started going down and the temperature dropped... We'll be finishing up tomorrow. I also got a mini greenhouse of tomatoes going as well. What a great way to celebrate Earth Day (albeit a little early, but whatever.) We'll be planting butternut squash, cucumbers, chives, broccoli, and a few varieties of lettuce. Very exciting!! Well, more for us than for you, probably, dear reader. Sorry! ;)
